Mr Jon Waite

Mr Jonathan Waite is a Warwickshire-based consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in knee and hip surgery including sports injuries and uses the latest arthroscopic techniques to treat both adults and children. He also performs joint preservation surgery such as osteotomy and cartilage repair. His particular interest is in partial knee replacement surgery and primary knee and hip replacements.

After gaining his medical qualification in 1993, Mr Waite went on to train at Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medical Centre and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. In 2005, he spent time with Melbourne Orthopaedic Group specialising in lower limb arthroplasty and sports injury surgery. During his career, Mr Waite has published numerous papers on knee replacement surgery outcomes as well as knee biomechanics in relation to ACL injury. His research has contributed to the development of same-day discharge following hip and knee replacements.

Mr Waite has membership of a number of organisations including the British Association for Surgery of the Knee and the Biological Knee Society.

Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing golf and triathlons.
