Mr Vivek Shanker

Mr Vivek Shanker is a Consultant ENT Surgeon based at Woodlands Hospital, where he sees NHS, self-pay, and insured patients. He brings extensive international and UK-based training to his practice, offering comprehensive care across the full range of ear, nose and throat conditions.

Mr Shanker began his ENT training in India before moving to the UK, where he completed four years of specialist training on the Oxford ENT rotation. He subsequently completed his higher ENT training on the Newcastle ENT rotation, qualifying as a consultant in 2004.

His clinical interests include rhinology, with a particular focus on conditions affecting the nose and sinuses, as well as thyroid and parathyroid surgery, benign salivary gland surgery, and general ENT practice.

Mr Shanker is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the British Medical Association, and the Royal Society of Medicine.
