Dr Ashish Chandra is a consultant histopathologist and cytopathologist based at Guy's & St. Thomas', London. Dr Chandra was Clinical lead of the department from 2009-2012. Dr Chandra is currently the Lead consultant for Cytopathology and Urological histopathology.
Dr Chandra is experienced in gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytopathology and has a special interest in Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS and EBUS) guided Fine Needle Aspiration.
Dr Chandra is an examiner for the RCPath and also organises courses for the British Association for Cytopathology (BAC), the British Association of Urological Pathologists (BAUP) and the RCPath.
Dr Chandra regularly presents talks and workshops at Cytology Training Schools in the UK and at international conferences.
