Mr Syed Rahman

Mr. Syed Rahman is a Consultant Urologist with over two decades of experience in female and male functional urology, urinary tract stones, urinary incontinence, and vaginal prolapse. He sees private patients at the Spire Leeds Hospital.

Mr. Rahman earned his primary medical qualification in 1983, after which he undertook and completed his basic and specialist training in India and in Europe. Since completing his training, he has gained specialist certification to allow him to practice in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Europe ad India. He has since become a crucial leader in providing advanced, individualised treatment for various urology issues in male and female patients in Leeds and Wales. In 2011, Mr. Rahman undertook a female and reconstructive urology fellowship, under the European Association of Urology, and has since been known for his use of innovative treatments for incontinence, such as slings, sphincters, and pacemakers.

Mr Rahman has a keen interest in treating urogynaecology issues including prolapse, difficulty urinating, and recurrent urinary tract infections. He also delivers a high standard of male urological treatments including vasectomy, circumcision, and laser treatment for kidney stones.
