I have the upmost respect for Mr Kumar and all of the staff that have helped me prior during and currently after my procedure. I have been receiving Physio on a weekly basis, and the encouragement and prompting from them all has given me the confidence to make an excellent recovery. Many Many thanks to all.
I had a total knee replacement and although it was very painful for the first couple of weeks, especially getting out of bed during the night, doing the physio, I am extremely pleased with how the operation went. My recovery has gone a lot better than I thought it would and a lot quicker too. I can’t thank Mr Kumar enough for his expertise on carrying out the knee replacement, answering any questions I had before and after the operation. He came to see me on the evening of the day of surgery to let me know how it had gone. I am not totally pain free but it is a lot better than I thought it would be.
The first few weeks after surgery are hard and you think you will never walk again but elevating, icing and doing the exercises regularly really helps and I am now resuming my normal activities without pain.
Following my second knee replacement with Mr Kumar I am extremely pleased with the care I received. From consultation through to surgery ,I felt fully supported throughout. I am very happy with the outcome of the surgery and would highly recommend Mr Kumar to anyone considering a total knee replacement, He is a highly Skilled and excellent surgeon who provided outstanding care throughout my treatment. First class on letting you know about the procedure great bedside manner explained everything really thought. Thank you
Always a pleasure when meeting with Sunil Kumar, a doctor / consultant who is well spoken and clearly knows his patients as well. Was well taken care of by Suni Kumar. Sunil Kumar was well aware of the issue with my knee and was able to suggestion ways to resolve the knee injury.
Although nervous of having an operation, I couldn't have been more reassured. Mr Kumar explained everything to me clearly, pre and post surgery. I am very pleased with the care I received from start to finish. My TKR operation went well. As a retired Nurse who has worked at Hartswood for many years. Mr Kumar always came highly recommended as one of the top Orthopaedic Surgeons and that is the reason I had total faith in him.
