Mr Stephen Jones

Mr Stephen Jones is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Nuffield Health Cardiff, working at both the Vale Hospital and Cardiff Bay Hospital. As a specialist adult hip surgeon his practice involves the assessment and management of all aspects of hip surgery, with a high volume practice in primary and revision hip replacement.

Mr Stephen Jones qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1995. His Orthopaedic and Trauma training was on the All Wales Higher Training Program, and his specialist training has been an accumulation of fellowships in the UK together with clinical visits throughout Europe and North America. He commenced as a Consultant Surgeon in Cardiff in 2005. He has MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering that has provided him the knowledge and understanding to become closely involved with hip implant development and evaluation.
