A big thank you to Mr Simon Garrett and his team for a very professional and friendly medical visit and procedure. Everything was fully explained to me and my questions answered. I was put at ease throughout the procedure and left knowing what aftercare was required and the next steps of my treatment. Many thanks.
Mr Garrett explained the procedure , mechanics and risks involved for my hip replacement if the next step of my assessment is positive.
Having had a hip replacement the whole experience from start to finish was absoultey faultless . The bedside manner form all staff members was thoughtful , kind and caring with any concerns answered immediately. Dr Garrett has been so reassuring and I know I was in the best hands and having the best treatment I could possibly have . My scar hardly noticed. The whole experience was faultless. The caring and understanding nature was so reassuring. I felt completely in safe hands . I cannot praise the whole experience highly enough. I’ve had no problems , hardly any pain and can walk perfectly without crutches at 6 weeks . When I came out of theatre my first words was I’m elated . ! Thank you so much I feel very lucky to have received such great treatment and in a lovely building . With no waiting for any appointments and correspondence was always without delay . The room was so clean and food was really good . Thankyou if I had to do it again I would . Regards Mandy G.
My experience with having a total hip replacement was excellent. My new hip feels strong the wound healed well and looks like a scratch. I will probably need the other hip replaced and would want.Mr Garrett to perform the surgery. I would recommend him and feel he took care of me.
Mr.Garrett made everything very clear and answered my questions clearly
Got appointment early evening to discuss test results. Very clear what needs doing after explanation of treatments.
It was a phone consultation to save unnecessary travel. Good information, clearly presented and an offer of further help if required.
Excellent operation which has left me pain free and sleeping well.
Simon is an excellent orthopaedic surgeon who I have worked with both in the NHS and the Private sector. He is highly skilled, professional and approachable.

Mr Alexander Watson
General SurgeonSimon is a skilful surgeon. He has operated on several good friends of mine where I would not have wanted to and their outcomes were excellent. Simon is an extremely pleasant person who I knew as a trainee and who is now a great colleague.
