Mr Shailesh Kulkarni

Mr Shailesh Kulkarni is a Consultant Urologist based in London. He has a special interest in  Benign prostate disease and men's health. Mr Kulkarni has over 30 years of experience as a urologist and he has trained in most areas of adult urology. He also 

Mr Kulkarni is qualified to provide treatments for paediatric urology (circumcision, herniotomy and orchidopexy) urinary incontinence including botulinum toxin injection.. Mr Kulkarni has trained under experts in female and male urinary incontinence nationally and internationally.

Mr Kulkarni does provide surgical treatment including monopolar and bipolar Transurethral resection of prostate, urolift  and Aquablation procedures for benign enlargement of prostate. He does diagnostics for prostate cancer (raised PSA) and management of haematuria.

Mr Kulkarni completed his undergraduate training in India before moving to the UK where he completed his training. He is now a lead clinician for urology at King George and Queens Hospital where he has been a urological consultant surgeon over 15 years.

Mr Kulkarni is very much involved in education and training. He is a clinical and educational supervisor for urology trainees. He ia Training Programme Director for urology Training in North central east London and a Speciality advisory committee member

Mr Kulkarni is involved in clinical research. He has presented his research on a national and international level.

Outside of work, Mr Kulkarni enjoys spending time with his family, swimming and painting.
