Mr Rupert Beck

Mr Rupert Beck has been the Lead Clinician for the Uro-Oncology Multidisciplinary Team since 2005 and chairs the weekly MDT meetings. He has very close relationships with the Urology department in Southmead, working there twice monthly from 2005 to 2018 as the specialist urologist dealing with male sexual dysfunction and Peyronie's Disease.

Mr Beck treats all types of urological conditions and has a wide experience in endoscopic urology ureteroscopy, flexible ureterorenoscopy, TURP, Urolift, flexible cystoscopy as well as in open surgery such as nephrectomy, circumcision, hydrocele and epididymal cyst operations.

He qualified as a doctor from Guys Hospital, London in 1986. He then trained as a Urologist in Edinburgh and Nottingham and then, in 1998, he was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Swindon.

Mr Beck also undertakes a large volume of medicolegal work both for Defendants and Claimants and specialises in urological clinical negligence cases.
