Mr Roger Sloan

Mr Sloan was brought up in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland. He trained at Edinburgh Medical School and then returned to work at Queen's University and the City Hospital Belfast for a year.

Since 1998 Mr Sloan has worked in the midlands completing specialist training in Oswestry/Stoke, Birmingham, and Coventry. He completed two upper limb fellowships in 2008, one at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary (hand and upper limb) and the other at the Melbourne Shoulder and Elbow unit, in Australia.
