Excellent from beginning to end - the nurses on the ward were absolute treasures x thank you
Mr Hargrove performed a total hip replacement surgery for me in March 2026. The operation was an unqualified success & I whole heartedly leave this review knowing that I couldn't have selected a better surgeon. He is truly excellent. I am doing more now whilst still recovering than I've done for the last 24+ months because of the joint pain I was in. I also feel 30yrs younger & have been given my life back by this very gifted surgeon. Not once have I had cause to doubt his professionalism or abilities. It doesn't hurt that he has a dry sense of humor & his presence at my bedside before & after surgery re-assured me that I was in the best hands.
Mr Hargrove was very good at explaining the treatment, reasons for it and how it would help. He was also good at the post operative review in answering questions about my new hip.
Excelent surgeon ,great support team.I will definitely recommend him
I felt reassured and full of confidence from the initial meeting onwards. Everything was clearly explained, there was plenty of time and opportunity for me to ask questions. Follow-up after the procedure was thorough and excellent.
Mr Hargrove has operated on both my hip and knee and I am very grateful for his professionalism and expertise and will have no hesitation in seeing him again for the other hip when the time comes. Thank you
Mr Hargrove explained everything throughout, did the job perfectly and has a very friendly bedside manner. I can thoroughly recommend him.
Quite amazing-a very invasive procedure and yet at over 85 I was walking well, allowed to carefully restart mountain biking and drive a car only 6 weeks after the operation! At no time was I concerned and felt that I was fully supported throughout-well done to the team. Some limited discomfort - Very little pain was experienced . I would just add that I was given conflicting views of the amount of use of cruthches., the use of which is important in the early stages. Thankyou
