Mr Peter Prouse

Dr Peter Prouse is a Consultant Rheumatologist. He qualified from the University of Melbourne and trained in rheumatology at Northwick Park Hospital, London and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children. During his speciality training, Dr Prouse gained extensive experience in the management of both adult and children with inflammatory arthritis, connection tissue disorders and osteoporosis and later, at the Hampshire Hospital NHS Trust, he developed services for people with inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis and connective tissue disorders. Dr Prouse obtained his MD degree studying rheumatoid and juvenile arthritis.

Dr Prouse sees patients with a range of rheumatic diseases. He has a keen interest in the treatment of inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid arthritis.

Dr Prouse is actively involved in clinical research and has co-authored numerous articles in the field of rheumatology. He is an active member of several medical societies. He has also been the Honorary Secretary of the British Society for Rheumatology.
