Mr Kenyon operated on my shoulder within 11 weeks of my initial consultation. He was extremely clear in his explanation of the surgery and what to expect afterwards. His friendly manner put me at ease prior to the operation. I am extremely happy with the outcome of my surgery. I had no pain following my surgery and my movement was fully restored within a matter of weeks and there is minimal scarring....an excellent job thank you!!

I am a heating engineer and since autumn of 2024 I noticed gradual left shoulder pain & restricted movement, that worsened and affected my work, after months I finally went to my GP. I was initially X-rayed and started physio in spring of 2025 with months of treatment, including injections & exercises to improve movement & pain. After no success I was referred to orthopaedics in the autumn. Here I met Mr Kenyon, in November 2025, he checked the X-ray from months ago and straight away noticed an irregularity on it, he then sent me for an MRI scan to confirm his thoughts. This resulted in his correct diagnosis of torn ligaments of a rear cuff shoulder injury and was promptly booked in for surgery. The surgery was completed in February 2026 and recovery was absolutely pain free and my shoulder is now 110% better, and getting stronger by the week. The treatment received was first class and I’m very grateful for his and his teams help.

This visit was no. 2 post rotator cuff surgery. Peter was affable, friendly but always professional. I was really impressed with my shoulder surgery and have nothing but praise for his skills and also for his support team.

Peter Kenyon was the only doctor in 5 years that actually LISTENED, spoke to me like an equal and successfully treated my shoulder with surgery - slap repair/bicep re attachment/shoulder stabilisation. His words to me after surgery, were immensely validating and made a mockery of every professional that had dismissed me with painkillers and even a prescription for a daily 30 minute mental health walk! “You weren’t making it up” - so many doctors could learn a lot from him, particularly around women’s pain - even after surgery when my shoulder froze and the physio was dismissive, he again listened and acted to alleviate the pain. He was a gentleman from the first consultation to discharge, ensuring excellent outcomes and I really can’t recommend him highly enough.
