He also has a special interest in complex deformities, including a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.

As a National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics, he received advanced training in children's orthopaedic conditions at the renowned Children's Hospital, Sheffield. At Strathclyde University, he completed a diploma in gait analysis to study lower limb mechanics and the complex relationship between the hip, knee, foot, and ankle. He later received further training in circular frame therapy at Russia's world-renowned Ilizarov Institute in Kurgan, Siberia. In 1998, he became a consultant at the University Hospital Lewisham, and gained fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 2003. He then pursued a specialty interest in adult and paediatric lower limb problems at King's College Hospital.

He has a passion for medical education and in 2008, he co-organised the first King's College FRCS (Orth) revision course and the Paediatric Orthopaedic FRCS Orth Revision Course. In 2011, he was appointed as an examiner for the Intercollegiate Board Examination in Orthopaedics.

He is also involved in orthopaedic clinical research and has given numerous presentations on his findings. In addition, he has more than 20 publications and many case reports published in peer-reviewed journals. He is also a reviewer for orthopaedic journals.

Mr Lahoti has written several chapters for orthopaedic textbooks and monograms. He is frequently invited to give presentations at national and international conferences and also delivers training seminars for postgraduate trainees and junior consultants in the field of lower limb reconstruction. Mr Lahoti has been very attentive and supportive thought-out the process for my treatment, even checking in on me directly after surgery and seeing me regularly to check recovery and advise on what to do next. Mr Lahoti is warm and comes across as having a strong understanding which inspires confidence in the process both before and after surgery.

Mr Lahoti is a very caring surgeon who looked after me upon my return from abroad, where I’d had emergency surgery for a broken leg. He monitored my healing process and also removed the metal plates a year later after my bones had rebuilt themselves. I was very reassured throughout my whole recovery journey.

Mr Lahoti treated me over the course of two years for severe tibial torsion. After many years of struggling with this issue, and struggling to find the right expert, everything changed once I met him. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and performed several surgeries to address the problems. He explained the process clearly and was on hand every step of the way to support me. The explanations were clear and simple, the surgeries were faultless and the results have been absolutely life changing for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with limb deformities as he is clearly a world class expert on this field

Mr Lahoti took the upmost care of our daughter before, during and after surgery. Madeline made a quick recovery and we are very happy with the results. Mr Lahoti was great at explaining all the details of the procedure to us as parents and our daughter too. He took the time to listen and answer any questions we had.

First class. As someone who has experience of working with victims of polio, he brings an innate understanding of the issues involved. Cannot recommend him more highly.

Friendly and approachable. Explanations very clear and helpful. Understood my situation and expectations. Gave quite different alternatives to advice I’d received elsewhere, without closing down my initial options. Offered a future opportunity to see other patients who had undergone the same procedure.
