Mr Nigel Mercer

Mr Nigel Mercer is an esteemed Consultant Plastic Surgeon known for delivering compassionate, patient-centred care across aesthetic and reconstructive medicine. Mr Mercer completed his medical degree (MB ChB) at the University of Bristol Medical School in 1980. He completed postgraduate surgical training across major surgical units before obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1984. He subsequently earned a Master of Surgery (ChM) degree in Plastic Surgery from the University of Bristol in 1993, completed an advanced visiting fellowship in paediatric plastic surgery in North America, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) in 1997. His professional memberships and leadership roles include serving as Past President of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), Past President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), Past President of the European Association of Societies of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (EASAPS), and Past President of the Federation of Surgical Specialty Associations (FSSA).
