I have a cyst on my pituitary gland. I was seen by Mr Thomas earlier this year and having seen the MRI , he immediately told me to have an eye investigation as he was concerned about how it was affecting the optic nerve. . I was seem by Moorfields twice as the issues with my vision corresponded with Mr Thomas’s concerns. This week, I noticed my vision was worse in my left eye and I immediately contacted mr Thomas’s office. I was booked in to see him within a day . He was extremely helpful, made me feel calmer and he will be removing the cyst as soon as the surgery is booked. I can’t thank and Thomas enough for raising the alarm in the first place, and then making time to see me so quickly and helping to expedite the surgery .

On first meeting Mr Thomas, I felt extremely at ease. He was extremely professional and helpful and immediately I felt confident in his care. When I was admitted to hospital, he gave me a concise briefing on my procedure and the aftercare has been second to none.

I felt that he seemed to understand the difficulties I was explaining to him and be able to be flexible around next steps.
