Mr Nicholas Thomas is clear, reassuring, and professional in his patient interactions. Patients praise his comprehensive explanations for procedures such as major brain surgery, spinal stenosis, micro discectomy, or cervical spine issues. He provides outstanding care and expertise, ensuring patient understanding and comfort. Mr Thomas takes time to listen to concerns and gives thoughtful explanations and advice for management plans, inspiring confidence with his knowledge and calm manner. His expertise specifically addresses conditions including lower back pain and brain tumours.
Superb experience from start to finish. Everything was explained very clearly and Mr Thomas was very generous with his time. My surgery was performed flawlessly and he offered excellent post-operative care and advice.
Mr Thomas explained in detail the spinal stenosis causing the chronic pain. He supported his explanation by presenting the images of the relevant spinal area in a comprehensible manner. Mr Thomas suggested that an operation to decompress the relevant area of the spine was possible, but cautioned that the Type 1 diabetes and neuropathy would have to be considered. He planned to communicate and discuss the above with Dr. Toth.
I had a transnasal endoscopic resection of a non-functioning pituitary adenoma in 2025 and had a very good experience with Mr Thomas and Team. I had some complications which they supported and solved with great professionalism.
Mr Thomas has been an exceptional neurosurgeon throughout every stage of my journey. From the very beginning, major brain surgery, and all of my follow-up appointments, he has provided outstanding care, expertise, and reassurance. Every appointment, he has an incredible way of making me feel comfortable, listened to, and at ease, no matter how anxious I am. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers my questions with patience, and never makes me feel rushed. Having continuity of care after such major surgery is invaluable, and knowing that Mr Thomas has been there every step of the way has made an enormous difference to both my recovery and my confidence. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine compassion mean so much to me. I cannot thank Mr Thomas enough for the care he has given me. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had him as my neurosurgeon, and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing his expertise.
I’ve visited Mr Thomas a few times now and always been given very clear advice. Very personable and efficient, making me feel I’m in excellent hands. Strongly recommend.
Mr Thomas is an angel to deal with. So kind and explains everything.
Mr Thomas is the kindest angel. calm and no ego! he is my favourite surgeon.
I was due to travel to London to see Mr. Thomas on the hottest day ever in the UK. After a brief phone call to his secretary on the morning of the appointment he was so helpful in agreeing to a phone consultation to save me travelling from the south coast. I couldn't fault Mr. Thomas in any way, he described my situation precisely so that I understood my situation. Friendly and very professional, first class thank you.
