I have nothing but praise and immense gratitude for the care and treatment provided by Mr Michael Stellakis. His level of skill and care is exceptional. Michael Stellakis has looked after me so well. He performed surgery on me last month . I felt safe to be under his care and for him to operate on me. My safety and wellbeing were very much a priority to him and I am so grateful he is my consultant and my surgeon. Michael Stellakis rightly enjoys an outstanding professional reputation. It is well deserved and rightly earned by him.

I noticed one morning an egg shaped lump in my groin area after a hard indoor climbing session and knew immediately I'd torn something and suspected a hernia. A quick Google search of local Hernia surgeons came up with one name in particular, Mr Michael Stellakis, I paid privately for a consultation and the resulting examination involving extremely thorough online tutorials of what is and what contributes to a Hernia left me with no doubt I'd made the correct decision in seeking Mr Stellakis's opinion and my options going forward. Several weeks later I underwent a Bilateral laproscoic Hernia repair. From the initial consultation through to the surgery and the aftercare, every step was dealt with, with complete and utter professionalism that I'd heard about from the Warwickshire Bowel and Hernia Centre. I walked out of the Hospital later the same day as the surgery, 3-4 weeks later I'm back climbing as good as, if not stronger than before the Injury, Simply incredible experience from start to finish. Great experience all round

The whole process with my hernia repair was extremely positive, from the pre-op consultation, throughout the surgery, and the post-op follow-up. All the hospital and medical team were very helpful and kept me informed about every step of the process. I was extremely well looked after and am very happy with the resulting repair.

Waiting time for consultation appointment was too long so I cancelled & rebooked with another consultant

Mr.Stellakis had a friendly and relaxed manner which immediately put me at ease. His explanation of my condition and treatment options was very thorough and helpful and the follow-up via his secretary was impressive…first contact within a few hours of the appointment. Overall my experience was excellent.

Mr Stellakis is an excellent consultant, he explained fully the process of my keyhole hernia operation. I followed his advice on my recovery period, resting until I felt comfortable enough to do some light exercise. I suffered very little discomfort after the operation and no bruising.
