During this time I developed an interest in plastic surgery and was granted entry to the Pan-Thames training programme, spending three years at St Andrew's Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery. He passed the FRCS(Plast) exam in 2007 and was awarded the Ian MacGregor Gold Medal.
Mr Griffiths has spent time in New York and Munich as part of the STACs Aesthetic Fellowship, working under renowned surgeons to hone his surgical skills.
