Mr Yardley graduated from Cardiff in 1984 and undertook surgical training in Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham and Sheffield / Doncaster training programmes. During this time he undertook research which culminated in a master of philosophy degree. Before taking up a full time consultant post in the NHS he undertook a skull base and Neuro otology fellowship in Toronto Canada, bettering his clinical knowledge with the highest quality mentorship.
Mr. Yardley is currently the senior consultant ENT surgeon at the Royal Hallamshire as well as the clinical governance lead. His main interest is in ear disease and he is a core member of the skull base multidisciplinary team, a tertiary referral centre for skull base disease which includes complex pathology in the bone housing the ear.
He sees patients with general ENT problems and has a sub-specialist interest in ear disease.
In his spare time he enjoys walking, cycling and film.

From The start of my consultation Mr Yardley made me feel at ease. He took time to listen and to explain the results of the MRI, giving reassurance through out.

This is my second visit to see mr yardley I was first recommended by my twin sister Amanda , and we both agree that mark is the amazing with his knowledge of ear nose and throat , he explains every thing thoughly and he gives it all his best , and his bed side Mannor is amazing he is so kind , and very reassuring, , and I trust exactly what he says , I will always recommend mr yardley to all my friends and family , thank you again for taking your to see me this afternoon .
