Had hernia surgery, from consultation Mark was very professional and made it clear what was to be expected pre and post operation. The way the wound has been stitched together is also excellent as he has minimised the visual impact of what was quite a large incision.

I have had a hernia op with Mr Mark Davies and I'm very happy with the whole process so far. The pre op assessment was positive and reassuring. The operation went well with the booking in, anaesthesia checks and post op all very positive. At the post op check I reported that I have had a good recovery with expected pain being well managed and movement coming back to normal 4 weeks after.

The consultation with Mr Davies provided me with a clear understanding of my medical problem and the course of action necessary to resolve the matter. I am particularly grateful, that two weeks before my repair, on finding that I had two hernia's instead of one, Mr Davies consented to carry out the bilateral procedure on the original date of 23rd April 2026. This was an enormous relief not just for me but for my family.

He listened to me, reviewed my medical files and needs, and provided his own opinion and advice, which made perfect sense. He explained all aspects of my surgery and post op needs to me and my other half. The operation went well, and I've had a good recovery.
