Mr Ion is an exceptional surgeon and communicator. He manages to convey the information in an understandable and open manner. Obviously he has done this many times, and is able to both put his patients at ease as well as answer any questions. I am thoroughly impressed with his manner and overjoyed by the outcome of the surgery. Would recommend 10/10.

I recently underwent an endoscopic forehead lift, lower blepharoplasty and deep plane face and neck lift with Mr Ion. As a plastic surgeon myself, I chose very carefully who I would let operate on my face and I cannot recommend Lucian Ion highly enough. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I always felt taken 100% care of. He combines exceptional surgical expertise with genuine professionalism, and thinks about what is the right thing for you. He uses very effective novel techniques, which results in less swelling and bruising as well. My recovery has been smooth and quick. The consultation was thorough, unhurried, and very informative. The surgical result itself is outstanding. The outcome is beautifully natural — refreshed and harmonious rather than “operated.” His attention to detail and aesthetic judgement are truly remarkable. This is exactly what I wanted and he delivered 100%. Follow-up appointments were on time, attentive and professional, and I always felt that I could reach out with any concerns. I had experienced a botched rhinoplasty back in Dubai and no surgeon in the U.K. was willing to perform a revision rhinoplasty on myself. Dr Ion is the only surgeon who not only agreed to it but also performed an excellent revision rhinoplasty.His revision rhinoplasty was so good that no one can tell if I ever had a rhinoplasty. I am really really happy with my results.

Best decision I have ever made :) I had a rhinoplasty with Dr Ion about 2 years ago. I was looking for a surgeon who could do ethic noses, from my understanding, we heal differently as our skin is thicker, so I wanted to make sure I go to someone with experience in this area. From the moment I met him for my consultation, I knew I found the right person (I had done quite a lot of research prior). I believe a great surgeon should be like an artist and sculptor, and I found that in Dr Ion. It was a seamless process from start to finish, my results are better than the rendering that Dr Ion had shown me. In every meeting, Dr Ion was a complete gentleman, who always offered to take my coat. The meetings were concise and to the point. I always felt very assured about the entire process and this is coming from someone who is an overthinker and has anxiety. My surgery was done in 2hours. I had zero pain and no bruising. I went home 30mins after the surgery and felt great. Didnt need any painkillers for the days that followed. I am really happy with my results and so grateful to Dr Ion and his team. As soon as I met Dr Ion I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. He had impeccable bedside manner and I trusted him personally. My surgery went well and couldn’t be happier with my results. He has always dealt with any queries personally and thoroughly and also helped amazingly with a likely unrelated to surgery infection which occurred nearly 2 years after surgery, when he could have reasonably told me to seek help elsewhere. My results look 90 percent identical to my morph, perhaps better and he was patient and reassuring the whole way through my recovery!
