Mr Kieran Power

I found Mr Power to be very professional and an excellent surgeon. My aesthetic appearance is better than I envisioned it to be. The after care was also excellent. I would definitely not hesitate to see him again as a patient. Mr Power’s PA, Donna was also amazing, helping me with surgical journey.

Kieran Power is a superb surgeon with judgment, skill, and artistry. He has helped me feel like me again. His thoughtful PA Donna Edmondson is wonderfully reachable.

My only difficulty in conveying my opinion of Kieran Power is finding the right words to express just how amazing a surgeon he is. This was after two previous reconstruction attempts had left me in a sorry state. I had been told it was in fact a “satisfactory result” because I could hide it in a bra (!) and there was not much else that could be done to help me. I was devastated and disfigured but my sister, a nurse, urged me to get a second opinion. From the moment I first met Kieran, I felt totally safe. He immediately reassured me that he could help me. His gentle manner is incredibly calming and I cannot express how much it meant to be treated with such kindness and respect after my previous experiences. This served to significantly reduce my anxieties from the start (and I had hitherto been treated for PTSD in connection with previous medical related traumatic experiences and my previous unsatisfactory cancer recon surgeries). I knew I was in safe hands and that this was a surgeon I could trust. His integrity and skill are outstanding. My surgery and recovery all went very well and I received wonderful care (Donna, his secretary, is just brilliant!). I have since shared photos of my recon with other breast cancer patients and they always say “wow, I want your surgeon!” I had just about given up even daring to hope that I might ever be able to feel vaguely happy about my body again after cancer but Kieran is a real life genius surgeon - I am eternally grateful to him. This Summer I pranced around in a bikini on the beach actually feeling confident I think!?!

I cannot recommend Dr Power enough. I had a facial reconstruction after the removal of a carcinoma. I do not think that any other doctor would have been able to achieve the same results. Dr Power not only did an absolutely brilliant job, but also gave me the total confidence through the process that I could have not been in better hands. His admin team is also excellent taken care not only of the patients medically but also at the human level. I cannot not thank him enough for the impact that he had on my well being and my peace of mind and the same goes for Donna!

Mr Power described in clear terms the different treatment options for my condition. I was seen promptly for my initial consultation and it was straightforward to book a date to suit me for my operation. On the day of the operation I was reassured that Mr Power explained the procedure before I went to theatre and he visited me to check that I was sufficiently recovered to be discharged. I felt well cared for and confident about my treatment.

I can only describe Mr Kieran Power as being an excellent surgeon who has the magical touch. I first arrived for my first appointment as an anxious and nervous patient. Thanks to Mr Power’s kind nature and calm manners, a few appointments later all fears were gone. The two procedures (two moles removed) were done with great skill and the results were better than I hoped for. During the procedures Mr Power took great care and every question was answered and advice given. The whole experience was a positive one. I should also mention the great secretarial support received from Donna, who has always been at the end of a phone. Thank you Mr Power for the excellent medical care provided.

I saw Mr Power in June 22 when he performed an immediate reconstruction after my mastectomy. I saw him again for my Mammoplasty this April. I can say he is extremely professional and explains all the procedure before the operation and the aftercare is excellent.

From the initial to post procedure consultations I received a great overall experience. Good bedside manor, approachable with questions/ concerns explained thoroughly. I was also extremely pleased with the final result of the procedure.

From start to finish the experience was superb. I only wish I had done this sooner.

Mr Power and his team were great from initial consultation and through both procedures I needed. I had to have a cancerous lump removed from my face so the procedure and the scarring was a bit of a worry but Mr Power had a calm manner, his work was amazing and my scar is absolutely minimal. Can’t recommend him highly enough.
