From first meeting Mr Britto i felt at ease. His knowledge and explanation of possible procedures and outcomes gave me the information to make informed choices about my surgery. After deciding to have an upper and lower Blepharoplasty, plus a deep plane face and neck lift, Mr Bitto went on to explain the benefits of doing the procedures under twilight sedation, as opposed to undergoing full anesthesia. The benefits of twilight sedation far outweighed any other sedation. I found it resulted in quicker recovery immediately after surgery, no grogginess, and no need for an overnight hospital stay. It was an all round more pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend twilight sedation over anything else, and wouldn't hesitate to have it in the future

I had my upper eyelid blaesplasty with sedation done 2 weeks ago, so far im so pleased with the results, the most surprising thing was that i put my surgery off for so long because i thought it was going to be painful but having opted for sedation I dont remember much about the procedure and certainly no pain. If thats all that is holding you back and you're worried about it being painful, trust me, opt for sedation and go for it, im confident you won't regret it.

I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough. I felt in safe, professional, caring hands from my first consultation to the incredible aftercare post surgery. I was nervous about the twilight experience, but wanted to have this due to the quicker recovery time and less risk of complications. I’m so glad I chose this as throughout the procedure I felt totally relaxed, pain free and not really aware of what was happening. I have no proper memory of the event, but I know that nothing was traumatic or unpleasant in any way. I was back, having a cup of tea, eating lunch and chatting normally once I returned to the room! I didn’t experience any sickness or that awful pain where a tube has been in the throat! I was able to go home early afternoon and throughout the whole experience I felt extremely well cared for and safe. I can’t thank Jonathan and the whole team enough!

I had been trying to get a lipoma removed from my jaw for over a year, I could not find anyone who was willing to do this operation due to the position. In the meantime, my face was getting lopsided and I was very conscious of this. I hated having my photo taken. By following her suggestions, I was eating protein and vegetables, drinking orange shots, exercising and getting plenty of fresh air. I really felt looked after and confident that I was doing the best I could for good repair of my skin and muscles after the surgery. She also helped me with a weight loss programme and keeps in touch with me to help me get to my goal. Its working. The operation seemed to be over very quickly, I had a faint memory of chatting during the procedure, but it all went smoothly and I felt no pain or nervousness. Jonathan called me the following day and I go to the pre planned checkups at Colchester. It is now just over 6 weeks since the operation. I looked in the mirror a few weeks ago and thought “oh there I am”, it was my face before the lump and sagging jowls, he had turned back time. Thank you. Amanda

After my consultation I explained the concerns about my eyes and I was offered a few different options , I decided on just upper blepharoplasty. Dr britto was happy to carry out exactly what I wanted and it was all explained well and discussed further in a second appointment. Surgery day ,I had chosen to have it under twilight, which was the best thing ever ,just amazing and the care I received I couldn’t fault in anyway Dr britto checked in on me after the procedure the next day on video call and I did text him a few times during the next weeks and received more Video calls, he always reassured me that he was there if I had any concerns . The swelling was minimal and I had no pain at all I’m now 3 months post op and wow what a difference ,I absolutely love the results. My eyes look so natural and have kept the look of when I was younger , I’ve had compliments from people saying you look well and they haven’t noticed that I’ve had a procedure . Definitely one of the best decisions So happy

Yesterday, I underwent a JSculpt Neck Lift with Jonathan Britto, performed under twilight sedation. From the very first booking through to the day of the procedure, the level of care and attention I received was exceptional. Every step was handled with professionalism and reassurance, which immediately put me at ease. Although I had read many positive reviews about this type of sedation, I still anticipated some level of discomfort during the procedure. I couldn’t have been more mistaken. The entire experience was completely pain-free and, to my surprise, incredibly relaxing. Time seemed to pass so quickly that the procedure, which lasted over three hours, felt more like 40 minutes. This was undoubtedly enhanced by the professionalism of Jonathan and his team, including his highly experienced anaesthetist, who has worked alongside him for many years. I’m now looking forward to seeing the results over the next few weeks.

Eye surgery is more difficult mentally as it is difficult to see the improvement .immediately after. Having said that , after a few weeks I was able to see and am very happy with the result

I am Extremely happy with the outcome of my surgery - 3 months on . My eyes look natural and my appearance has improved dramatically .
