Mr John Tighe

Mr John Tighe is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and was formerly the Lead Clinician and Clinical Director for Head Neck and Eye services at the Queen Victoria Hospital for over 7 years. Within his NHS practice, Mr Tighe is widely experienced in a full spectrum of Oral and Maxillofacial surgical procedures. Additionally, in his private practice he pays special interest to all aspects of oral surgery including removal of impacted wisdom teeth and retained roots, jaw cysts, dental implants and bone grafting techniques. He works closely with a number of local dental practitioners offering oral surgical support for their patients.

After qualifying in dental surgery from the University of Bristol and then in Medicine from the University of London, Mr Tighe then undertook specialist fellowships in Oral Surgery, General General Surgery and ultimately Maxillofacial Surgery.
