Mr James Pitt

Mr James Pitt is a general surgeon who qualified in 1989 from the London Hospital Medical College, London University.

His areas of interest are as follows:

• Anal fissure;
• Haemorrhoids;
• Pilonidal sinus;
• Anal fistula;
• Laparoscopic colorectal surgery;
• Colonoscopy;
• laparoscopic hernia repair;
• colon and rectal cancer treatment

Mr Pitt underwent extensive training in London at some of the city's most prestigious hospitals, and he was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1995. In 1996, James earned a degree in surgical science from University College London after conducting research into anal fissure treatments. He later went on to become a Consultant General Surgeon at Ipswich Hospital in 2001.

Today, James focuses his practice on gastrointestinal surgery and hernia surgery amongst other areas. He has vast experience performing procedures such as anterior resection, colonoscopy, inguinal hernia and hemorrhoidectomy — all with excellent results.
