I had upper endoscopy . Mr Mc Allister explained the procedure and I was offered sedation I decided to try without. Due to Mr McAllister’s skill and patience it was straight forward and I was able to go home soon after.
I would highly recommend Mr Ian McAllister as a General & Colorectal Surgeon. He put my mind at ease from the initial consultation and I was confident in his advice thereafter. He carried out my procedure with the upmost care and professionalism. He is warm, friendly and very professional.
Consultation was very informative with a gentle approach to my concerns. I would recommend highly.
In for some investigation admitted at 9am out by 11am. The nurses Natalie and Aoife were lovely. & so was Dr Mr McAlister & the rest of the team who looked after me for my procedure.
My procedure was very nerve wrecking for me but he had put me at ease the whole time. I could tell he was skilled at his job as the whole process was extremely smooth and minimal discomfort. It also didn’t take too long either which was excellent.

I am really glad i decided to go ahead with the procedure/operation. I believe i was well looked after and my operation was successful and i am much more comfortable now.
