Mr Maytham is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon. He is the Unit Lead for the treatment of Venous Disease at St Georges Vascular Institute and the Clinical Lead for Vascular Trauma at the Major Trauma Centre. From initial consultation to final follow up appointment I received nothing but the best treatment. Mr Maytham is clear in his explanation of procedure, what to expect immediately after surgery and no question feels too trivial to ask him. If I needed further treatment I would not hesitate to seek his advice.

I rate my experience highly for the following reasons: When I had my operation booked it had to be cancelled because of my unregulated blood pressure, I wrote to Mr Gary Maytham explaining my position. He wrote a very empathetic reply. I have now had my operation six weeks ago. The procedure was clearly explained, especially what was to be expected afterwards. My varicose vein is no more, the leg looks so much better no lumps or bulges, very tidy operation. The after appointment was thorough and re-assuring, all in all I am so pleased I had the operation. Could not of asked for better professional care.
