Vein removed on my leg was explained well and performed professionally in a well organised hospital. Mr Maytham and all of the theatre staff made sure I was comfortable and took great care of me during the procedure making sure I felt no pain. Recovery was not too long, the very small incisions healed quickly with no scarring, the unsightly swollen vein has gone. I am very pleased with how my leg looks now.
Dr Maytham appeared very professional and answered any issues. He conducted a procedure (an endovenos leg ablation) which went entirely as expected and I have quickly fully recovered.
Mr Maytham is extremely knowledgeable, delivering information in an understandable and reassuring manner. The procedure itself was as described, and Mr Maytham explained each step as iy progressed.
Mr Maytham was very approachable and explained everything in detail and re assured me throughout the whole proceedure.
Excellent care from Mr Gary Maytham. Very thorough from my first visit to the last. My legs are so much better and has improved my life considerably. Thank you.
I have recently undergone a series of treatments at Gatwick Park Hospital to correct swelling in my lower legs. All achieved a high degree of success but there remained a stubborn residual level of swelling in the lower left leg. The coordinating Gatwick Park GP referred me to Mr Maytham to investigate. After an examination including scans he decided sclerotherapy treatment was needed to correct vein damage. The results of the treatment were quite remarkable, accelerating the healing process within a couple of weeks. The swelling was eliminated and the skin which had been ravaged by severe ulceration and various infections had returned to normal. Very pleased to say the least!
Had a pleasant experience being in the hands of Mr Gary Maytham & his team who performed a successful procedure of removing a number of veins from both legs. After care was exceptional overall very happy & satisfied with the care before & after.
Mr Maytham was incredibly professional, the treatment from initial consultation then surgery and aftercare was extremely smooth. Mr Maytham explained each step thoroughly and it all went without any issues.
I have had my varicose veins removed and follow up appointment- procedure explained well. Good support with post operative care and good follow up.
Gary is a great colleague with a busy NHS and private practice and I highly recommend him
