The visit was ok eventhough what I thought was going to occur dodn't. If the NHS are going to continue to use the private sector all records, xrays, ultrsounds and any thing else should all be available not just a written explanation. This would be much better for all concerned. Woodlands Hospital Reception area is ok and the Receptionists are friendly. If you are NHS funded be prepared to wait past your alloted time.
Mr Shukla was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at ease. We discussed my problems and he listened carefully to my concerns. We now have a clear way forwards which is reassuring.
Very professional and thoughtful made me feel at ease during a really thorough examination.
I visited Mr Shukla to discuss a knee problem that has been getting worse over the past few weeks. We chatted in detail about how the problem originally arose, and about my medical history with orthopaedic issues. Mr Shukla examined me and he very quickly assessed the problem. Everything was explained clearly including instructions of what to do while we are awaiting for a scan and follow up appointment. A couple of my friends who he has helped recommended Mr Shukla to me, and from my initial experience I would have no hesitation in recommending him. I do feel that I am very safe hands - thank you.
I was sent to Mr Shukla regarding a hip replacement. He was very nice but was unable to take me as a patient due to me being high risk.
I visited Mr Shukla regarding a possible knee replacement,I found the consultation most satisfactory, my own concerns were taken Into consideration. Mr Shulka spent time to answer my questions and I felt very happy with my visit. I never felt rushed or pressurised, thank you for your kindness and cosideration
Very understanding and caring. Explained the problem with my shoulder, which has never been explained to me before. Now organising a scan for me.
