As background, I suffered an ACL and meniscus injury playing cricket last year, which recurred more recently. An MRI confirmed a complete ACL rupture with associated meniscus damage, and I was placed on a waiting list for surgery. After six months with no progress, my GP referred me to Woodland Hospital Trust.
