David Polak

Mr David Polak is a BPC accredited Psychoanalyst and Psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in both the public and private sector. He holds a Master's degree in Psychotherapy.

He is also a specialist in Sports Psychotherapy, working with the unique problems faced by atheletes, sports people and those who work with them., coaches, families and teams.

His other specialties include: depression, relationship/family issues, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem and anger management.

Mr Polak adopts a psychoanalytic approach to therapy and helps people become more aware of how unconscious feelings and thoughts may be affecting them in their everyday lives. He offers in person consultations at his private practice in Maida Vale and Richmond. He also offers online therapy via video consultations.

He focuses on addressing the root causes of people's current difficulties and throughtherapy helps patients to expand their conscious choices. He has published extensively in professional journals and is both a supervisor and visiting tutor at the British Psychotherapy Foundation.
