David Polak

Mr David Polak is a BACP accredited Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in both the public and private sector. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy and a Master's degree in Psychotherapy, both from London Metropolitan University. His specialties include: depression, relationship/family issues, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem and anger management.

Mr Polak adopts a psychoanalytic approach to therapy and helps people become more aware of how unconscious feelings and thoughts may be affecting them in their everyday lives. He offers in person consultations at his private practice in North London and at Nightingale Hospital. He also offers online therapy via video consultations.

He focuses on addressing the root causes of people's current difficulties and through the process of therapy helps patients to expand their conscious choices. He has published extensively in professional journals and has given talks on intergenerational trauma.
