Mr David Almond

Mr David Almond is a Senior Urologist Consultant working in the private sector at The Spire Hospital and also for the NHS at Castle Hill Hospital. Mr Almond qualified in Medicine from the University of Leeds in 1975, before undertaking his postgraduate medical training in both Leeds and Manchester through which he specialised in the field of Urology. He then completed a fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1981.

He has a particular interest in renal stone diseases, upper tract tumours and stones and lower urinary tract symptoms. The treatments he offers include extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), ureteroscopy and laparoscopic renal surgery. He is also highly experienced in performing surgery for erectile dysfunction.
