Mr Atheer Ujam

Mr Atheer Ujam is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in London with over 20 years of experience. He currently sees private patients at several clinics across central London including Harley street, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Bank and St John`s Wood. He provides treatment under local anaesthetic, sedation and general anaesthetic. 

Mr Ujam completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002 and became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in 2004. He later pursued his medical degree, graduating from the Barts School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2008. He later completed his Diploma in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons, as well as his PhD in Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Biology at University College London in 2019. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. His basic surgery training included ENT, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic and General surgery. During his junior doctor training he has also worked in Ophthalmology, Accident and Emergency and General medicine.

Mr Ujam completed his higher surgical training in Maxillofacial surgery in London. His  scope of work is vast and has specialist expertise in facial deformity (orthognathic surgery), facial trauma, facial skin cancer, TMj surgery and salivary gland surgery.

Mr Ujam also provides cosmetic facial plastic surgery procedures including face lift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, liposuction, blepharoplasty, and autologous fat transfer. He has vast experience of non surgical aesthetic procedures including facial fillers and botox treatments.

Furthermore, Mr Ujam has expertise in all aspects of oral surgery, including complex dental implant surgery, major bone grafting, full mouth rehabilitation, wisdom teeth removal, surgical removal of impacted canine teeth as well as the management of oral soft tissue conditions.
