Dr Mohamed Okasha

Dr Mohamed Okasha is a Consultant Neurosurgeon who provides highly specialised clinical care for patients with complex neurological conditions. Dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, Dr Okasha utilises modern neurosurgical techniques to treat disorders of the brain, skull base, and spine. He works closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver tailored diagnostic assessments and evidence-based surgical interventions.

Dr Okasha earned his medical qualifications in Egypt, completing his medical degree alongside a Master of Science and Doctorate in Surgery. He subsequently completed higher neurosurgical training in the United Kingdom, which included a Royal College of Surgeons Fellowship in skull base surgery. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Surgical Neurology, as well as Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. Additionally, Dr Okasha is actively involved in clinical research and professional leadership, serving as an Associate Editor for the Society of British Neurological Surgeons.

In his clinical practice, Dr Okasha focuses on endoscopic skull base surgery and pituitary surgery, offering advanced treatments for brain tumours, meningiomas, schwannomas, chordomas, and cerebrospinal fluid leaks. His expertise extends to complex spine surgery, as well as minimally invasive procedures using tubular retractor systems for deep-seated brain lesions. Dr Okasha also provides microvascular decompression for conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia, striving to achieve optimal functional recovery and improved quality of life for every patient.
