Dr Mohamed Metawe is a dedicated Clinical Oncologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment. With expertise in managing complex oncological conditions, he focuses on delivering tailored treatment strategies aligned with the specific medical needs of each patient. His approach is grounded in open communication and empathy, ensuring that patients and their families remain well-informed and supported throughout every stage of their treatment journey.

Dr Metawe specialises in urological oncology, with a primary clinical focus on prostate cancer and urological malignancies. His clinical practice encompasses advanced radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic ablative radiotherapy and both high-dose rate and low-dose rate brachytherapy. In addition to radiation therapies, he is experienced in administering systemic therapies and chemotherapy. He also maintains a strong focus on incorporating emerging cancer biomarkers and precision medicine to optimise treatment efficacy and minimise side effects.

Academically and professionally, Dr Metawe holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists. He has completed a specialised Clinical Oncology Research Fellow role focusing on brachytherapy.
