Miss Winifred Nolan

Miss Winifred Nolan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist. They qualified as a Doctor from the University of Birmingham Medical School. They are a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and hold a Doctor of Medicine (Research) (MD, University of Birmingham/UCL Institute of Ophthalmology).

Miss Winifred Nolan's areas of expertise are the diagnosis and treatment of newly diagnosed primary open-angle and angle-closure glaucoma. They also treat secondary glaucoma, which is when patients develop glaucoma secondary to other conditions. Examples of conditions that can cause secondary glaucoma include uveitis, neovascular glaucoma, post-vitrectomy glaucoma, and cornea-related glaucoma. Miss Winifred Nolan has a complex surgical practice and performs trabeculectomy surgery, aqueous shunt, laser procedures, and cataract surgery.

Miss Winifred Nolan sees and manages patients referred from Optometrists, GPs, and Ophthalmology colleagues.
