Miss Julia Sen

Miss Julia Sen is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in reconstructive surgery, eyelid surgery, oculoplastic surgery and cosmetic eyelid surgery. With over two decades of experience practicing ophthalmic surgery, Julia is passionate about improving the quality of life and treatment outcomes of her patients, by using highly specialised techniques, such as Moh's Micrographic surgery, giving her an edge over other ophthalmologists. Julia is currently based at the Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust; Midland Aesthetic Clinic and Spire South Bank Hospital where she offers a range of treatments.

Julia qualified for medicine in at University of Leicester Medical School in 1993, and went on to train at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, specialising her training in periocular skin cancer and oculofacial plastic surgery. Julia undertook training in Liverpool University Deanery Hospitals, after which she gained fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons and membership with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Julia believes her practice of ophthalmic plastic surgery is crucial to treating cosmetic distress, vision loss and discomfort, by offering Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a gold standard treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer with high success rates. Julia utilises her anatomical knowledge to aid in her practice and produce a high standard of results in all patients she treats. Miss Sen has also worked extensively to create one-stop service for patients seeking out periocular Moh's excision and reconstruction.
