About Dr. Michail Vakalis
Dr Michail Vakalis is a dentist at Quality Dental in Shoreham. He has a special interest in endodontics and is passionate about his field of work.
He gained his dental degree in 2010 and went on to obtain a master's degree in clinical and surgical microendodontics, during which he was an apprentice to the renowned endodontist, Dr Elio Berruti. He also holds a number of postgraduate certificates, including in aesthetic dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute of the University College of London, which first sparked his interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. He has recently gained a master's degree in restorative and aesthetic dentistry from the dental school of Turin
Dr Vakalis enjoys the challenge of creating beautiful smiles for his patients using smile design techniques and prosthetics such as veneers and aesthetic crowns, or orthodontic systems such as Invisalign.
Additionally, he is a mentor for the Health Education England Kent Surrey and Sussex where he shares his knowledge and supervises newly qualified dentists during the first stages of their careers.
Outside of the dental practice, Dr Vakalis enjoys travelling, photography, and cooking for friends.

My appointment was for a root canal filling but complicated because it was on an already crowned tooth. Michail was so good - efficient, patient, informative, apologetic because it took longer than he had anticipated, but he wanted to work more slowly as it was a little bit more complicated than he first thought. Maisy was lovely (as she always is), very caring and professional. Thank you for a great job!
