About Mr Michael Robson
Mr. Michael Robson is a Senior Physiotherapist and Rehab Lead at LDN PHYSIO, bringing extensive experience from the NHS, private practice, and elite football academies. As an HCPC-registered specialist in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy across adult and paediatric populations, Michael has built a strong clinical foundation, including his early work as an Academy Physiotherapist at Chelsea Football Club. This role equipped him with key skills in pitch-side trauma management and complex rehabilitation, which continue to inform his approach today.
Michael currently leads the clinic’s Football Rehab and Running Clinic services, drawing on his sports science background and hands-on experience to support patients through tailored return-to-sport programmes—particularly for ACL and lower limb injuries. He is also highly regarded for his work with shoulder injuries, climbing-related conditions, and performance-based rehab. As Rehab Lead, he supports the wider clinical team with complex case management and drives the development of evidence-based rehabilitation protocols.
Alongside his clinical work, Michael holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science and Professional Football Coaching from the University of Greenwich, UEFA-B License in Football Coaching, a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London, and is currently pursuing an MA in Military History at the University of Birmingham.
