Mr Nicolas Colombo

Nicolas Colombo is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Clinical Director at LDN PHYSIO, where he combines hands-on clinical practice with strategic leadership responsibilities. With over 13 years of experience, Nicolas has worked across a range of settings, including major NHS trusts, private practice, and elite sports clinics.

After graduating with first-class honours in Physiotherapy from the University of East London in 2012, he gained extensive clinical experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. His background as a national-level swimmer in France sparked his passion for sports physiotherapy, and he now specialises in post-operative and return-to-sport rehabilitation, with a particular interest in supporting swimmers and runners of all levels.

At LDN PHYSIO, Nicolas also leads the clinic’s TMJ (temporomandibular joint) programme and plays an active role in expanding services through community and corporate partnerships. He has a strong interest in workplace health and ergonomics, having completed additional training in this area. He has delivered on-site clinics for businesses of all sizes, helping to improve staff well-being and productivity.

Beyond his role at LDN PHYSIO, Nicolas is the founder and director of QualifiedPhysio, a platform designed to support physiotherapists through the various stages of their career. The project offers career guidance, individual mentorship, and advocacy for physiotherapy within and beyond the healthcare sector.

Nicolas has also held physiotherapy roles in primary care settings, MSK services, and corporate clinics, and previously worked as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist with Bupa and Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. His leadership approach is collaborative and focused on promoting innovation and high clinical standards in physiotherapy.
