I had a wonderful experience with Mr Ghosh start to finish. Any questions myself, my partner or my family had were answered and he really put us at ease. I had a ROSS Pears procedure and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Following the procedure, I was in hospital for a week, in which Mr Ghosh came and visited almost everyday and provided any reassurance that was needed. I couldn’t recommend him as a surgeon enough.

I was operated on by an exceptional cardiovascular surgeon at a critical moment in my life. The procedure took place in July 2025 at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and was performed by Dr. Michael Ghosh, an outstanding Consultant Cardiac Surgeon. Mr Ghosh was exceptional throughout our experience with him. Throughout our interactions with Mr Ghosh, he remained professional, and importantly, compassionate. He was very clear in our initial screening appointment, articulating benefits and risks in a digestible way. He explained what could be expected pre, during, and post surgery. Mr Ghosh remained contactable prior and following surgery, and periodically checked in. He certainly puts patients first, providing his opinions and actions based on what is right for the patient. Mr Ghosh performed a successful heart surgery, allowing my Dad to manage a speedy recovery and regain his regular life back. We cannot thank Mr Ghosh enough.

Dr Ghosh, provided me with second chance at life after performing the Ross procedure on my Aortic valve, for that I am eternally grateful. From the first visit Mr Ghosh explained to me and my family about the procedure and all the pros and cons. He telephoned us after some time to discuss our decision. He was very kind, gentle and explained all that would be involved. Mr Ghosh gave me confidence and reassurance that I would be in the hands of a good team. His bedside manner was excellent. I cannot praise him enough for his excellent surgery and for saving my life.

Dr Ghosh responded rapidly to the request from Dr Brian Clapp, for surgical treatment of my heart disease on Friday afternoon Dec 15th 2023. He arranged and conducted the operation the following day, Saturday morning 16th Dec 2023. He was calming, clear and exuded confidence. He reassured me of the importance of the procedure and put me at much at ease as possible before hand. He visited me daily following the operation to check on my recovery and contacted my wife as soon as I was out of the theatre. The operation appears to have been a success and I recently had my post operative check up with him. He is a charming gentleman and I consider myself fortunate to have such a gifted surgeon attending to me.

A quadruple bypass, which had come as a complete surprise as I really hadn't been feeling unwell, most professionally carried out by Michael Ghosh and his team at LBH. From the first time I met him, a couple of hours after discovering I was too far down the line for stents, I felt I was in very capable hands and was clear what to expect. My expectations were exceeded! Not only did I get through the procedure and hospital recovery with no material pain, but he let me out 2 days earlier than I was expecting. Communication, preparation, operation, post-operative care and discharge all 100%

Mr Ghosh did a fantastic job in replacing my bicuspid aortic valve. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Just a class act tip to toe. Leaving aside his obvious talent in execution of the operation, his bedside manner was 11/10 and he is just one of life's top human beings. Thank you Michael.

Mr Michael Ghosh is a calm and very patient person. I had plenty of questions, which were all answered in great detail. I never felt I was being rushed and always made me feel like no question was silly, even if repeated. Truely very thankful for all Mr Ghosh has done for me .
