Mr Mayank Shastri

Mr Mayank Shastri is an accomplished Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive diagnostic and surgical care for conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and neck. Known for his reassuring and professional approach, he works closely with each patient to deliver tailored treatment plans that prioritise patient comfort, safety, and long-term wellbeing. His clinical scope encompasses a wide array of reconstructive and therapeutic interventions, ranging from intricate oral procedures to complex facial reconstructive surgery.

Mr Shastri began his academic training at the University of Manchester, where he graduated with a degree in Dentistry. He subsequently completed several oral and maxillofacial surgical posts in central London teaching hospitals before earning his medical degree with distinction in Clinical Sciences from Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry. Following academic foundation training, he completed higher surgical training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a Member of the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

In his clinical practice, Mr Shastri has developed specialised expertise in complex oral surgery, orthognathic surgery for jaw disproportion, head and neck trauma management, and benign salivary gland pathology. He also performs facial skin surgery, skin cancer surgery, and gender affirmation procedures, including facial feminisation surgery. Alongside his clinical duties, he is actively committed to medical education, supervising junior doctors and serving as an examiner to support the highest standards of future surgical care.
