Dr May Nawzad Fadhil

Dr May Nawzad Fadhil is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Dermatologist, renowned for her expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, chronic inflammatory skin conditions, and dermatologic surgery. She is fully registered with the General Medical Council and appears on the Specialist Register for Dermatology.

Dr Fadhil began her medical training at Baghdad University, before joining the prestigious Cardiff University Dermatology Centre, where she completed both a Diploma and MSc in Clinical Dermatology with Distinction. She went on to complete her specialist dermatology training at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) — one of the largest tertiary dermatology centres in the UK — and has since worked as a consultant dermatologist there since 2017.

Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of dermatological conditions, from common concerns such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne, to more complex inflammatory skin diseases and skin cancers. Dr Fadhil has extensive surgical experience, performing procedures ranging from simple skin tag removals to complex skin cancer excisions, using advanced diagnostic technologies such as confocal microscopy to enhance precision and patient outcomes.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Fadhil has been actively involved in dermatology research and clinical trials, focusing on treatment efficacy and improving patient care standards. She currently serves as the Audit Lead in Dermatology and Deputy Chair of the Departmental Clinical Governance Committee at NNUH.
