Dr Martin Sharrock

Dr Martin Sharrock is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in lower limb joint reconstruction and trauma care. Dedicated to restoring mobility and relieving chronic joint pain, he delivers patient-centred surgical care tailored to the individual needs of every patient. Dr Sharrock focuses on thorough clinical assessment, clear guidance, and modern surgical techniques to support patients throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Sharrock completed his undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) at the University of Manchester. He went on to complete basic and higher surgical training in the North West of England, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). To further advance his knowledge in joint reconstruction, he earned a Master of Science (MSc) and a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), and subsequently completed a specialist post-qualification clinical fellowship in arthroplasty.

In his clinical practice, Dr Sharrock manages a wide spectrum of hip and knee conditions, offering both non-operative advice and operative management. His primary interests include primary and revision total joint replacements for degenerative joint disease, management of periprosthetic fractures, and surgical intervention for lower limb traumatic injuries. Through evidence-based practice and a compassionate approach, Dr Sharrock aims to help patients achieve long-term functional recovery and a better quality of life.
