About Mr Naveed Yasin
Mr Naveed Yasin is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over two decades of experience in the management and treatment of spinal issues.
Mr Yasin qualified in 2002 from Cardiff University, after which he completed surgical training in the North West and also completed specialist training in Manchester. He then went on to complete an international fellowship, specialising in complex spines at Brisbane, Australia. This has allowed him to develop his knowledge and skills in spinal surgery and has also visited spinal centres in the USA and Europe.
Mr Yasin has worked with several universities, including Linkoping University (Sweden) and Salford University and has won prizes, including the Mallimson North West Research prize.
His specialist interests include cervical, intervertebral discs, spinal deformities, kyphoscoliosis, herniated discs and sciatica.

I have had the best care I could have hoped for. I was informed all the way of my procedure and really taken care of. Doctor Yasin with his colleague was amazing and totally professional. The pre surgery assessment was clear and concise, with every outcome discussed and agreed. The surgery has been a great success and i was able to work from home within 2 weeks and fully mobile within 4. The after care at the spire hospital, physio and post consultation with Mr Naveed has been excellent.

Mr Yasin was great. Explained everything really thoroughly.
Mr Yasin was s second consultant to confirm a decision on surgery. His explanation of his analysis was really clear, taking extra time to ensure we understood all risks, likely outcomes, and whether we had tried all alternatives. There was no rushing at all even when the decision was to change all that had been planned, based on new things he had highlighted. He made clear the options that we needed to decide on and was really supportive on the decision taken. His output notes and letter were really fast (same day). Overall fantastic service.

I saw Mr Yasin for an appointment following a spinal procedure. It was really nice that he recognised me in the waiting room. His manner is calm, friendly and very supportive. He showed me the x-rays of the procedure and explained everything that he had done during the procedure. I was delighted to be able to tell him that, rather than before the procedure when I was unable to walk any distance, I am now able to walk upwards of 15000 steps with no pain. I'm thrilled with the outcome and very grateful that I was lucky enough to come under his care. He has made a huge difference to my life and I can't thank him enough.
