Mr Mangattil Rajesh

Mr. Mangattil Rajesh is an experienced Consultant Spine Surgeon practicing within the NHS at Barts Health NHS Trust, alongside private practice across London. With over three decades of medical experience, he specialises in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of spinal conditions, including upper and lower back pain, complex spinal disorders, and degenerative disc disease.

Mr. Rajesh graduated with an MBBS from the University of Madras in 1990. He later achieved FRCS (Surg) in 1996, completed a Master of Surgery (MS) in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2008, and was awarded FRCS (Orth) in 2012. In addition to his surgical qualifications, he completed an MBA in 2016, reflecting his wider interests in healthcare innovation and leadership.

He undertook advanced Spine Fellowship training at Royal London Hospital in 2018, alongside further specialist fellowships in France and the United States, including training in endoscopic and robotic spine surgery.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr. Rajesh is a lecturer on the Masters programme in Orthopaedics at Queen Mary University of London. He has presented his work at more than 30 international conferences and maintains active interests in medical devices and digital healthcare innovation.
