I felt at ease having a quite intimate conversation with doctor Hannah and he answered all my questions and queries succinctly!
Multiple kidney stone removal operations. All explained very well prior and post operation. Always followed up with a phone call as well to check up on me.
Highly recommended urology surgeon. Excellent communication, really takes the time to listen and understand my concerns.
It was very good on the day and I was able to ask all the questions I wanted. The procedure was better than I expected. I had more problems with the time leading up to the appointment. I was told I would get e referral to urology after a good ultrasound outcome. I then looked at the referral on the app and found I was referred for a possible cancer appointment and the received a letter from the hospital for a procedure, rather than a 'General' appointment. I understand the speed of the process is for my benefit, but more information would have been helpful.
Apart from no one being on reception at the designated time, and this wasn’t the doctors fault, my appointment went very well. Mr Magnus Hannah was clear, coherent and efficient in his skilled approach to talking me through the issues raised.
Satisfied with explanation to all my questions. Including the option to make an appt. Via a telephone link within the next 12months, should I have any concerns.
Mr Hannah is a knowledgeable and compassionate colleague who is well liked by his patients and respected by his peers. He has a broad grounding in core and general urology with a specialty interest in cancer diagnostics, kidney cancer and stones.
