Prof. Maen Al-Aissami

Professor Maen Al-Aissami is a highly accomplished Consultant Plastic Surgeon who specialises in aesthetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery. Based in Glasgow, he is dedicated to providing patients with exceptional care, combining clinical precision with a reassuring and patient-centred approach. Professor Al-Aissami began his medical journey at Aleppo University, where he qualified in 1985. He went on to qualify as a General Surgeon at Damascus University in 1989. To further specialise, he undertook extensive training across several premier plastic surgery units, including a leading NHS plastic surgery unit in Glasgow, and qualified as a Plastic Surgeon in the United Kingdom in 2008. Committed to academic excellence, he has obtained postgraduate research degrees, including a Master of Science (MSc) from Glasgow University, and has held prestigious academic appointments as a Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.
