Mr Richard Clark

Mr Richard Clark is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon who offers a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to help patients restore or reshape their appearance. He is fully accredited on the General Medical Council’s specialist register for Plastic Surgery.

Mr Clark qualified in 1998 and has since undergone extensive training in plastic surgery. He completed his basic surgical training in the West of Scotland and started his plastic surgery training at the renowned Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in 2003. His specialist interests include breast surgery, body contouring, skin lesion surgery, male breast surgery, and eye surgery.

Over the years, Mr Clark has gained significant experience in his field and has completed various fellowships to fine-tune his skills. He obtained his FRCS (Plast) qualification in 2009, became a member of the Pan-Scotland Rotation in plastic surgery in 2007, and completed a two-year head and neck surgery fellowship from 2004 to 2006. In addition, he has completed a BTEC in the use of cosmetic lasers and light therapy.

Mr Clark has built a significant private practice in the last 5 years, with clinics located in Glasgow and Stirling. His clinics are popular with patients from Fife, Perth, Falkirk, Cumbernauld, and Linlithgow, all of which are within a 45-minute travel distance. He has published his MD thesis and several high-quality research papers and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
