Ms Lynette McKnight

Lynette McKnight is a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience, specialising in fertility, pregnancy, and pre-conception nutrition. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), the HCPC, the BDA Maternal and Fertility Nutrition Specialist Group, and the European Fertility Society. She qualified from the University of Ulster, Coleraine, in 2001 and has gained extensive experience across various clinical areas during her time working in the NHS.

For the past eight years, Lynette has focused on fertility and pregnancy nutrition, with advanced training in diabetes, fertility, and weight management. She is a certified prenatal and fertility dietitian and provides evidence-based nutritional guidance to support individuals trying to conceive naturally or preparing for fertility treatments, including egg freezing. Her expertise extends to optimising egg and sperm quality, implantation support, miscarriage prevention, and managing conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis.

Lynette practises at Optifema, where she offers specialist nutritional advice tailored to each individual’s needs. She also consults in Parkgate, Ballyclare.
