Mr Luca Deiana

Luca Deiana is a qualified physiotherapist with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy (2022) and a Distinction in MSc Physiotherapy (2024) from London Metropolitan University. He specialises in injury diagnostics, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and sports injury management, with advanced skills in manual therapy, shockwave and laser therapy, and corrective exercise.

Currently working with Tottenham Hotspur FC’s academy, Luca supports young athletes through injury assessment, rehabilitation, and pitch-side care. He previously held a similar role with Luton Town FC’s academy and completed a clinical placement at Fit2Function, where he gained hands-on experience with radial shockwave and K-Laser therapy.

Luca combines evidence-based physiotherapy with a solid foundation in human anatomy, biomechanics, and sports rehabilitation. His background includes NHS placements in orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, and respiratory care, shaping a holistic and patient-centred approach. He also has strong knowledge of sports massage techniques including effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, and friction.

Known for his clear communication and collaborative approach, Luca builds trust with each patient to help them achieve long-term recovery and peak performance. His passion for rehabilitation and athletic performance underpins every aspect of his clinical practice.
