From the moment I hobbled through the door, I was impressed with the friendly and professional attitude of the receptionists. My appointment with Oscar started bsng on time and I was put at ease and was highly impressed with the confident and knowledgeable manner in which he presented himself. After a series of questions and answers regarding my condition, he skillfully carried out my examination and presented me with a series of exercises that he wanted me to run through over the following two weeks. He checked that I was able to carry out the exercises and that I understood there intention. My follow up appointment was equally professional and proficient and I was able to demonstrate my improvement. A new set of more intense exercises were prescribed and it wad agreed that I wouldn't immediately book a third visit. I will if improvements fail to materialise. All in all, a fantastic experience that I should have initiated months earlier.
I was treated by Alison over a y month period for neck pain after long cycle rides. Initially I had fortnightly appointments then after 2months I had monthly appointments. Alison did a thorough review of the history of my complaint and general health and lifestyle check. She provided a programme of exercises for me to improve my neck strength and to improve my posture. The exercises were reviewed at each session and adjustments were made to the programme. I went from fairly passive exercises to more dynamic ones over the course of my treatment. Alison also sought advice from a senior colleague and he joined my session a couple of times providing valuable input. Alison also manipulated areas around my neck scapula and spine which helped with my flexibility and movement. I always found Alison to be pleasant, understanding and professional and I would recommend the practice. Towards the end of my treatment I was able to ride a multi day long distance ride in Ireland (850 miles) and my neck was ok. .
Alison was very sympathetic to Ruby's situation. She was very informative and she explained clearly about the physio she wanted Ruby to do.
Alison has been very supportive throughout my rehabilitation journey, with thorough assessments and appropriate exercises to help me recover from long term issues. Her knowledge and understanding was excellent and I always felt that progress was being made with my recovery despite it being a long journey. This was my final appointment and I left with exercises that I can continue to maintain this recovery.
I was really pleased to have found this physio centre and all the staff have been professional and welcoming at all times.
Positive and helpful. As a patient it is imperative to work through set exercises to make the best of the experience.
Very pleased with my contact with Alison - she obviously knows her stuff

Focused shockwave therapy or extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) has been shown to be a highly effective treatment option alongside conservative manual therapies and rehabilitation. This is endorsed by The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). The main benefits of using shockwave are pain relief and restoration of normal cell and tissue function.

Physiotherapy helps people affected by injury, illness or disability through education, hands on manual techniques and exercise therapy. During your initial assessment your therapist will listen to your story and ask lots of questions to find out what symptoms your suffering with and how they affect your life. Some of the questions may seem a bit odd such as, asking about your sleep patterns, stress levels and about what you believe/or understand the problem to be. That’s because we know that these factors can have a big effect on your problem in combination with what’s happening within your body.

Sports massage is essentially a treatment that works deep into the musclesmoving. It can be used to relax the muscles in general and to treat specific problem areas. Sports massage traditionally has been used before, during or after a sports event however people who aren’t involved in any sport can still benefit hugely from this type of treatment.
